Main objectives of our School Library, Library Collection, Library Services

A school library (or a school library media center) is a library within a school where students, staff, and often parents of a public or private school have access to a variety of resources. The goal of the school library media center is to ensure that all members of the school community have equitable access to books and reading, to information and to information technology.

A school library media center uses all types of media is automated, and utilizes the Internet [as well as books] for information gathering. School libraries are distinct from public libraries because they serve as "learner-oriented laboratories which support, extend and individualize the school's curriculum... A school library serves as the center and coordinating agency for all material used in the school.

• Assist the students to become skillful and discriminating users of library.
• Offer opportunities for experiences in creating and using information for knowledge, understanding, information and enjoyment.
• Workout a programmed in consultation with teachers for the effective use of all types of library materials.

Library collection

Library collection is obviously one of the most important basic resources upon which the utility of library depends. Library collection is precious treasure of library. Our Library provides a wide range of books and other reading materials in Hindi, English, Urdu  for every one, whatever your reading taste. Library stock consists of 2200 books on variety of subjects including Books for competitive examinations, computer science, information technology, religion, Hinduism, social science, economics, political science, language and linguistics, science, literature, fiction, history, geography etc

Library Services

The library has been expanding its services as a center for dissemination of knowledge, information and culture. It is increasingly felt that the library should not merely serve as a center for lending books, but should also grow as a information resource center
